Cookie Notice

This notice explains how Migo may use cookies, local storage, pixels and similar storage or access technologies on our websites and applications. These technologies can remember a device, maintain a secure session, store preferences or help us understand service performance.

• Strictly necessary: authentication, security, fraud prevention, network routing and consent records needed to provide the service.
• Preferences: language, communication and interface choices you ask Migo to remember.
• Analytics: aggregated information about performance and feature use, enabled only where the required consent or other legal permission exists.
• Communications: delivery and interaction measurement for service messages, where permitted.

We do not use advertising trackers unless they are separately disclosed and the required consent has been obtained.

Migo advertises on Google Search, in ChatGPT and on Quora. To learn which ads and pages bring people to Migo, and whether they go on to sign up or buy credits, we use:

• Google tag (Google Ads and Google Analytics): cookies such as _gcl_aw, _ga and _ga_* that record an ad click and measure visits and conversions.
• ChatGPT Ads pixel (OpenAI): cookies such as __oppref and __obref that record an ad click and measure sign-ups.
• Quora Pixel (Quora, Inc.): reports page views, clicks on sign-up links and completed sign-ups, with your IP address and browser details. It sets no cookie on this site, though Quora may read its own cookies if you are signed in to quora.com. We do not send your email address to Quora. See the Quora Privacy Policy.
• Migo campaign record: a first-party cookie, migo_touch, that keeps the campaign tags from the link you arrived on (for example utm_campaign or Google's click id) for up to 90 days, so a sign-up can be credited to the ad that led to it. When you sign up we store that record on your account.

In the UK and the EEA none of these are set or loaded until you choose Accept in the cookie banner; choosing Reject later stops any further events. Until then Google receives only cookieless signals. Your choice is kept in a migo_consent cookie for 180 days, and you can change it at any time from Cookie choices in the footer.

Strictly necessary technologies cannot be switched off through a consent tool because the requested service would not work securely without them. Where Migo uses non-essential technologies, you can accept, reject or change them through the cookie controls presented on the relevant site.

You can also control storage through your browser or device. Blocking some technologies may remove saved preferences or require you to sign in again.

Some technologies are set by providers that support hosting, security, communications, payments or analytics. Session technologies expire when the session ends. Persistent technologies remain for the period shown in the consent tool or until you remove them.

We periodically review the technologies used by Migo and remove those that are no longer needed.

We may update this notice when our technology or legal requirements change. If a change affects your consent choices, we will ask again where required.
